Rising Star Theatre

This Fall we’re bringing the energy of the big game to the big stage! Get ready to run, jump, cheer, and perform as we combine the excitement of sports with the creativity of theatre. Through theatre games, improv, props, and plenty of team spirit, campers will build confidence, learn to think on their feet, and let their imaginations run wild. Campers will work together to create their very own sports-inspired story to perform, while learning that being part of a team is just as important on stage as it is on the field! Whether they’re a star quarterback, a superstar gymnast, a soccer sensation, or the world’s greatest cheerleader, this camp is sure to be a total slam dunk!

This workshop is open to students currently in Kindergarten through students in 2nd grade. Students will meet every Tuesday from 4:30-5:30pm for 6 weeks! Performance for invited guests on Tuesday, October 20 at 5:00pm at TDH, with reception to follow.

This workshop is limited to 15 students. Participation fee of $90, which also includes a t-shirt. Scholarships are available. Please email megan@risingstartheatrecompany.com to request a scholarship or with any further inquiries.
